A centre of learning

On the third day of the MIRAI program, we got the opportunity to not only visit but to learn and better understand Japan through exchanges with students and scholars at Keio University.

Keio University is a highly recognized university located in Tokyo. With over 150 years as an academic institution, the university represents modern research and a strong commitment to the development of our society.

In the morning, we listened to and discussed with Professor Tanaka on the topic of Japan in Asia and it’s development programs. After lunch, we were divided into groups after the following topics: Economics, Politics, Society and Culture.

It was a great opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with Japanese scholars as well as young Japanese students. It was a valuable afternoon, which we hope can foster future cooperation and inspire to more exchanges between students in Japan and abroad.
